1) Must have non-upscaled, half-decently-encoded DVD-raws available. (Slight upscales might work, but anything beyond 576p is a definite no.)
2) Must have hardsubbed or softsubbed English translations available for all or nearly all episodes. (Requests for from-scratch translations may be considered, but don't get your hopes up.)
3) No R1DVD/BD release available. (Some R1 edit/remux jobs may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but don't get your hopes up.)
4) No softsubbed DVD release available, unless available releases suffer from major mistakes or omissions.
5) Time range is generally 1999-2008; newer shows generally have softsubs and BD-rips available from other groups.
6) Quality of the show itself does not concern me as much. As long as it's not completely boring and has at least some trashy/guilty-pleasure entertainment value, I'll consider it. For what I've seen and liked, see here.
I generally prefer drama/romance/comedy/ecchi anime over action/shounen/mecha/sports, and I don't particularly like ultraviolent GrimDark anime. Reverse-harem/bishounen-heavy/boys-love series have a low chance of acceptance; I'm willing to watch them, but I hesitate to spend excess amounts of time working on them. Shows I have seen will have a higher probability of being accepted than shows I have not seen.
---------------------------
Responses to requests:
Note: Arranged mostly-alphabetically
Blue: Shows that now have a completed or ongoing quality softsubbed re-release, whether by me or somebody else.
Green: Shows I intend to release.
Yellow: Shows I might release, depending on various factors such as raw availability and quality of the series, if I haven't seen it.
Red: Shows I do not intend to release, either because I don't like them, raws are unavailable, they don't interest me enough to work on, or they otherwise go against the guidelines.
Amatsuki: Released by Orphan.
* Angel Tales 2: Already released by Jumonji-Giri.
* Groove Adventure Rave / Rave Master: Fixed up DVD release available here.
*Happiness: Now completely released by ray=out. Also licensed in R1 by Sentai.
* Itazura na Kiss: Currently being released by Jumonji-Giri.
* Kagihime: Released by Jumonji-Giri, with some edits and extra TL by me.
* Lime-Iro Ryuukitan X Cross:
Release completed with KiteSeekers.
* Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~: Released. Re-release may be on the way.
* Mamoru-kun to Megami...: I did eventually obtain raws for this, but GrimRipper released with a new encode from the DVDs.
* Memories Off: All 4 OVAs released.
* Pretty Cure 2004: Released in dual-audio by YA.
* Saint October: Being released.
* Shinigami's Ballad: Released, and some newer versions are available from CornBreadMan and others.
* Tokyo Mew Mew: Released by Jumonji-Giri, with some of my suggested terminology changes. If you hate pomegrantes, direct your hatred to me.
* Wind ~A Breath of Heart~:TV series completely released, OVAs forthcoming.
* Yami to Boushi...: Released by Jumonji-Giri.
* Yume Tsukai: Released by Orphan.
* Zettai Shounen: Being released by Jumonji-Giri.
* Zombie-Loan: Released by GrimRipper
APPROVED:
* Akane Maniax Raws available and scripts now transcribed, so why not?
* G-On Riders: This is a planned future project, and I have all the scripts transcribed. Not a huge priority as softsubbed DVD-rips do exist on some level via DmonHiro's HKDVD-rip.
* Ginban Kaleidoscope: Since the translator of the Arienai-Conclave fansub said it needs re-translation, I suppose I should take a crack at it. The appearance of better raws and the availability of some scripts without transcription don't hurt, either. (Being released by Retrofit tho...)
* Hitohira: I actually have all the scripts for this, which was no small task since Starlight's releases were hardsubbed .mkvs, not softsubbed. Editing/TLC may be done in conjunction with another group.
* Love Love?: Although this got an R1 DVD release, nobody's bothered ripping it. And since I've gotten the Hell-Fansubs subs transcribed, I may as well. Same status applies to its m.o.e. sister series, Cosprayers and Smash Hit!, minus the "licensed in R1" part.
* Minami-ke Okawari: Since most people are either too busy or prefer to pretend this show doesn't exist. I found some 480p DVD raws, and they're pretty good aside from interlacing in the ED credits. Subs will be Ayako-Sae with some input from Ayu + my own changes.
* Penguin Musume Heart: Hopefully, I'll eventually do editing/TLC on this with another re-release group.
Sakura Wars New York NY: Seto_Otaku and I have wanted to do this for awhile -- I just need to stop being lazy and translate a few songs. RNA Scripts for eps 1 and 2 are transcribed.
* Triangle Heart ~Sweet Songs Forever~: Raws obtained, will definitely consider releasing, as it's an opportunity to work with Triad subs and an entry of the Nanoha franchise. And since I've gotten the scripts transcribed, there's not much point saying "maybe" any more...
* Twin Spica: Have actually wanted to release this for awhile, since the DVDs provide a 4:3 -> 16:9 upgrade. I actually have non-.wmv raws now, too!
* Ultimate Girls: Try out these files. They're DVD-rips, and somebody put A-W's subs on them as .srt awhile ago, but never made a formal release out of them. I'll go in and do things like add karaoke/signs, translate untranslated material, and fix/style the subs.
MAYBE:
* Android Ana Maico 2010: Not sure about this show, though at least raws (and Froth-Bite's subs!) are available.
* Angel Tales 1: Has been out on R1 DVD for years, see here. May reconsider if encodes/raws that significantly surpass Exiled-Destiny's release become available.
* Ayakashi: Obtained the raws, will consider releasing based on the quality of the series.
* Gargoyle of the Yoshinagas: DVD Raws
* Kage Kara Mamoru: Working on sending scripts for this to another group.
* Kakyuusei 2 (2004): A possibility, since I managed to come across Lunar's subs for it a few years ago. However, the raws aren't that much of an improvement over the TV-rips (rainbows galore), so I'm hoping some new encodes come along.
* Kamichama Karin: This show has subbed DVD-rips from EEX, does it need subtitle improvements? (EDIT: Uh, yes.)
* Koi Koi 7: 480p DVD raws finally available.
* Happy Seven: Haven't seen it, raws are available but .wmv... probably not. But I did grab the TV-rips after the request, and I'll give them a watch to judge the show. Project made more favorable by the fact that English .srt scripts are available and the wmv raws don't require audio conversion. Or instead, I may do some subtitle editing on it for another group.
* Master of Epic: May reconsider if I work with a certain other group on it.
* Mahoujin Guruguru Doki Densetsu: On some level, subs do exist for the second half of the series. Fairly unlikely that I'll do it.
* Mushi-Uta: Obtained the raws, but as I haven't seen the show, I won't say no or yes at this point.
* Idolmaaster Xenoglossia: Released on R1 DVD. (Though since nobody's ripped them, this may be worth reconsidering...)
* Izumo Takeki Tsurugi no Senki: Appearance of DVD raws has shifted this to maybe, since scripts for eps 1-10 were available, and I transcribed 11-12.
*Pretty Cure Max Heart: Dependent on new raws/encodes becoming available, as the ones out there are the same or worse quality than the Arienai&friends releases.
* Tsuyokiss: done by TSuNDeRe. Although lack of OP/ED translations would be grounds for me to do a re-re-release.
* Umineko no Naku Koro ni Uraneko specials: May consider if raws at 720p or below become available.
* Underbar Summer: May release, now that DVD raws have been found.
DENIED:
* * Alice Academy: released by GrimRipper.
Agatha Christie`s Great Detectives Poirot and Marple: Not a show that's ever caught my attention.
* Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto: Picked up for R1 release by Sentai; buy those DVDs or wait for some other group to rip them.
* Descendants of Darkness: Re-licensed in R1 by Discotek.
* Gin`iro no Olynssis: DVD Raws not easily available, seems like a mediocre show anyway.
* Good Witch of the West: I'd never heard of the show before, and raws are not readily available.
* Himawari!: Has an R1 DVD release. R2 raws don't seem terribly available anyway.
* Himitsu: The Revelation: Raws not available, haven't seen it, so can't put it on a "would do if raws were available" status.
* Kakyuusei (1999): Being worked on by C1.
* Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne: Haven't seen it, and it's a planned project by Retrofit. Denied for the time being. (Also being released by Stardust.)
* Kurozuka: Several Blu-Ray releases available.
La Corda D`Oro ~primo passo~: Haven't seen it, raws .wmv and probably not available, and while I've got nothing against watching bishounen anime, I'm not so sure I want to pore over it for hours and hours during transcribing/retiming/editing/QC.
* Let's Nupu Nupu: Does not appear to have a DVD release in Japan at all.
* Love GetChu: Being released by Oyatsu. And there's not much point in doing DVD-rips for a show that was never completely released on DVD, even if I could find raws for the 1st half.
* Loveless: Has an R1 DVD release (with a recently-added English dub), and the only R2 raws are either downscaled 396p .wmv or 720p upscales.
* Magical Doremi: Haven't seen any of it. I'm not fundamentally opposed to doing this series, but it's quite a bit to take on. None of the seasons are available softsubbed, btw.
* Meine Liebe: Bishounen show, raws not available.
* Mokke: Being released by a resurrected Jumonji-Giri.
* Moekan: Raws not available. Would consider it if they were, though.
* Mosquiton: No raws available.
* Night Head Genesis: Has an R1 DVD release, raws aren't available, series never interested me.
* Pani Poni Dash: R1 DVDs and rips thereof are available; typesetting may be beyond my capabilities.
* Power Puff Girls Z: Uh... no. Raws not available, and I think working with TV-Nihon's subs would break my brain.
* Ryouko's Case Files: Planned by another group.
* Sailor Moon: Plenty of softsubbed releases exist for all seasons. Now with R2/remastered versions for just about every season. (Though Sailor Moon SuperS could use an R2J DVD + dual-audio version...)
* Shaman King: Raws seem to be available, but it's a long show and I haven't seen it. I'm not a huge shounen fan, so it doesn't seem appealing to work on. However, someone I know is interested in releasing it, if he can find the DVD .isos.
* Shining Tears X Wind: Licensed in R1 by Discotek.
* Suteki Tantei Labyrinth: DVD raws available, but scheduled for an R1 DVD release from Nozomi.
* Tales of Eternia: Planned or in progress from Retrofit.
Tenjou Tenge: The Past Chapter: Everyone says it's a pointless recap that doesn't add anything new, so no.
* Tsukuyomi MoonPhase: Has been released in R1, softsubbed DVD versions available from Exiled-Destiny and other groups. From what I've seen of Mahou's subs, they're not worth the effort to recreate. The typesetting and karaoke are excellent, but the dialogue is under-translated and awkwardly written, and the timing is "fragmented." And the R1 subs are already pretty unlocalized, so I don't see what people's problem with them is. If I were to edit Mahou's subs, they'd probably wind up being pretty close to Funimation's anyway.
There is a DVD release by anime.fin and ChromaSubs that might use Mahou's subs, but it seems extremely rare.
* Whistle! Haven't seen it, and sports anime really aren't my thing.
Are you interested in Minami-ke Okawari? Its the only season without a DVD release
ReplyDeleteI know this prolly isn't the right section to put this in. But are you going to release a batch torrent for any completed projects?
ReplyDeleteI would definitely love that.
Everything I've completed has at least one batch torrent -- check nyaa and bakabt. Links are in the final episode release posts.
ReplyDeleteShaman king?
ReplyDeleteRave the Groove Adventure. Soldat's subbed version is low quality (512x384) and Choco's version is lower (320x240).
ReplyDeleteIf Rave is too long, can you do "Tsuyokiss Cool x Sweet". A guy (PowerPinoy) started this, but never finished it. There is some untranslated parts in the middle of every episode(added scenes that's not part of the story, just some random stuff) but he didn't translate them.
Here the raw he used:
Raws: HKG
Video: 864x480
can you please do
ReplyDelete1-Shining Tears X Wind
2-Nishi no Yoki Majo - Astraea Testament
These are low level anime, but they haven't DVD subbed releases:
ReplyDelete- Lovely Idol (subbed by Wind)
- Wind A Breath of Hearth (subbed by SS)
- G-On Riders (subbed by Mugen)
- Ayakashi (subbed by Animanda)
I don't want all of them, I only post them because I notice these have low resolution.
Thank you again for your releases.
Happy Seven
ReplyDeleteLove get chu
ReplyDeleteThe problem is they subbed only 13 episodes. If you can find someone that can help you to translate it, it will be wonderful (I think this one is near impossible).
Mahoujin_Guruguru_Doki_Doki_Legend from ep 19-end
ReplyDeletewould be nice.
i was wondering if could possibly do these
ReplyDeletePowerpuff Girls Z
Tokyo Mew Mew
Master of Mosquiton '99(shortest of the 3)
Hi Zalis
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for old animes 2000-2007 in DVD.
Maybe you know if some of your re-releasers friends are doing or project to do.
If not maybe you can release.
-Tenshi no Shippo Chu!
-Otogi Story Tenshi no Shippo
-Tales of Eternia
-Shinigami no Ballad
As you know i have requested -Izumo: Takeki Tsurugi no Senki and -Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito, and if they cant do it maybe you can.
Thank you
PS: Happy Birthday!!! Welcome to the above 30 club!!!
For the happy seven raws they are on veoh and since you live in the us you should be able to download them. Here's the link: http://www.veoh.com/watch/v19304380G575hbh9
ReplyDeleteCan you please do:
ReplyDeleteKagihime Monogatari Eikyuu Alice Rondo
Ultimate girls
ReplyDeleteSakura Wars NY OVA's since none single fansub completed this one. After all this is just 6 Episodes. I hope you consider this 0ne too :)
ReplyDeleteIs it possible for you to do Saint October? Only up to episode 20 (of 26) was subbed (I hope this count as "nearly all episodes"). If the raws at NyaaTorrents died, there's one at animebyt.es
ReplyDeleteKamikaze Kaitou Jeanne
ReplyDeleteMamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku o! -> no DVD rip w/ eng sub, only tv with hardsub. I really want to watch this, and I really really hope it's done by you.. :( Thanks before..
ReplyDeleteLime-Iro Ryuukitan X (Raimuiro Ryuukitan X) ?
ReplyDeleteThere are no subs except for the first two episodes, and the only raw files i managed to download were .avi
Just hoping it would be an option considering currently working on first series. It's a shame not many people know of this wonderful series. :-) TY
Heh, I just found this page =) Some comments:
ReplyDelete- Tokyo Mew Mew: I'm currently planning to release it when fireemblem finishes uploading the dvds on adc. I have episodes 1-18 transcribed and working on 19-24. If you want to make some edits let me know and I'll send you the scripts.
- Lovely Idol: episode 13 for this show never got English translation. There are Russian subtitles available, though, and I have some xvid-mkv raws if you're interested.
- Love GetChu: this show was never released on DVDs completely. Only episodes 1-13 are available on DVDs. (I don't have them.)
- Lime-Iro Ryuukitan X: whoever will do it, feel free to take these raws I made earlier: http://www.megaupload.com/?f=UGQQWOO0
I have the isos as well.
Amatsuki
ReplyDelete+1 for Mahoujin Guruguru Doki Densetsu
ReplyDeleteArigatou. ^_^
I have a few suggestions:
ReplyDelete-Pretty Cure and Pretty Cure Max Heart
-Ojamajo Doremi (first season--not sure if it's softsubbed yet or not)
-Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
I know its from 2008 but How about Itazura na Kiss? I looked at aniDB & there are only tv rips from M33W.
ReplyDeletePlus La Corda D'Oro Primo Passo? I also checked with aniDB & only Strawberry Mint Subs has released tv rips.
Both are really good anime that contain romance, comedy & drama.
@FlameHaze: I've got no problem working on 2008 or 2009 shows if the raws are DVD and not Blu-Ray, so I've adjusted the year guideline accordingly. (I probably could release Blu-Ray 720p if I wanted to, but I'll leave them to the HD groups.) Originally, I was staying away from newer anime with softsubbed TV-rips because I thought other groups would pick them up. But it seems like barely anybody else wants to touch DVD-resolution shows anymore, regardless of the hard/softsubbed status of the underlying TV-rips.
ReplyDelete"Idolmaster Xenoglossia". I know B-G already did this one, but they did bad work. I read the comments on Anidb (are you the user Zalis?) and I think that you can do a better job. You make a great job with Touka Gettan (from SRN's subs) and with the other anime too so I hope we can have a decent release for this anime too.
ReplyDeletePS - Thank you again for the 6 Prism Ark specials. They were really good and funny.
Kakyuusei (1999). There is only 1 subbed episode.
ReplyDeleteKakyuusei 2. Subbed by Lunar, only TV rips.
Kamichama karin
ReplyDeleteI'd like to request Let`s Nupu Nupu http://anidb.net/a3297
ReplyDeleteThere are currently only VHS rips from RiP, hopefully there may be some DVDs floating about.
Mushiuta please
ReplyDeleteTsukuyomi -Moon Phase- with [mahou]-subs.
ReplyDeleteAny interest in Koi Koi Seven? The censored batch that is commonly out there is a real mess. Combination of several groups; hardsubs and softsubs; mkv and avi; etc. It's been done before to an extent but their work seems to have only been uploaded to MegaUpload and based on the size, may not have used the raws. I've done what I could for myself and the result is a huge improvement. Still needs work though and from somebody other than a newbie. Here are my crib notes from what I was able to do:
ReplyDelete-----
Took uncensored DVD raws from Zero-Raws and, after a lot of searching, muxed with Enlish subs from http://www.ganool.com/2011/12/koi-koi-7.html which I believe are originally from http://forum.nihonomaru.com/full-series/154997-koikoi-7-complete-1-13-[dvd][720x480][xvid][eng][uncen]-koi-koi-seven.html. Where the original poster manually typed and timed the hardsubs from the censored version. Unfortunately, the OP seems to have only uploaded their version to MegaUpload which is defunct. Note that there are additional ecchi scenes in the DVD release which are not subbed. In addition. the specials are not included. And at least one ecchi scene from the censored version (end of episode 5) seems to have been cut.
Shame that Koi Koi 7 raws are unobtainable. I tried too. :( I have both raws and raws + subs where video and audio was just muxed from raws. But I don't have the original torrent file and checksums. If you're interested, which version did you want and how do I get it to you?
ReplyDeleteI'd take raws in any resolution that's 480p or something close to it. It's not that I can't work with or watch 960x720, but I don't want to promote placebo-quality pseudo-HD DVD upscales. If you or anyone can upload them to a surviving file host, I'd take a look at them. Or just talk to me in the chatbox, and we can work out some IRC sending arrangement. The new scenes won't be a problem, as I'll be able to translate them.
ReplyDelete1-4 can be remuxed from the avatar-nyanko release, and I've found Vietnamese softsubbed DVD-rips from Zing-Fansubs for 5-7 and maybe 8. (Need to get this "KoiKoi7_08.mkv.001 / KoiKoy7_08.mkv.002" thing sorted out.)
That reminds me, I still need to re-download the TV-censored version. The subs are all available, but I'm sure there are some signs that'll need to be manually checked and inserted. If anyone can get the .ass files that keypel posted on nihonomaru, that would also be helpful -- the scripts floating around there are from the TV release, and keypel apparently retimed them for DVD.
Sorry, I only have upscales per mediainfo:

It was hard enough finding an uncensored version back then and it was raws at that.
Bakabt has the messed up batch of the censored version. There are some softsubs in there but timed for the censored TV version. The uncensored DVD version has extra ecchi scenes and cut at least one ecchi scene that I know of. It would be nice if you could include any cut scenes as an extra.
Keypel manually typed and timed the episodes with hardsubs. I do believe I found his subs at the ganool.com site mentioned in my crib notes. You shouldn't have to retype them. I was able to demux and mux them using StaxRip. And I'm just a newbie.
I fussed around until I think I have reseeded the original Zero-Raws torrent. Hopefully it works. I found the torrent on isohunt and manually added the files and forced a recheck. Says it's seeding now. Give it a try. I'll try to seed it through the weekend. Let me know.
It's a shame there were never any DVD releases for Lets Nupu Nupu, thanks for looking any way. My second request Is Kurozuka, which definitely has a Blu-Ray release, Ureshii's release is a HDTV soft sub release so the scripts should be available.
ReplyDeletehttp://anidb.net/a6098
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BP-490
@Anon: Well, I managed to get through ep 11 of the Zing Vietnamese release. Unfortunately, I'm not going to bother getting 12-13 from them, because they switched from 100% softsubbed to 100% hardsubbed from ep 7 onward. 2 hours wasted getting a .rar with 8-10, FFFFffffff...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm open to using the upscales for eps 7-13, if no other raw sources appear. I did find this torrent on isohunt, is that the same one you're on? I'm thinking that torrent probably won't work, since it's on a currently-dead private tracker with DHT and Peer Exchange disabled. It may have to be re-torrented somewhere like nyaa, if you're able to do that.
Also, that ganool site was being extremely fussy... even after I allowed JavaScript for every domain, it still kept telling me to switch off AdBlock. Which I don't even use. Would you mind uploading the subs here instead?
Would it be possible to upload Tonagura! patches on mediafire? It would be much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteShame again. Thanks so much for working on it. Like I said, previous releases of Koi Koi 7 have all been a real mess. It's been needing a clean release for a long time. You might consider using the upscaled DVD raws for all episodes. On my HDTV rig, they looked so much better than the censored TV versions.
ReplyDeleteThat's the torrent. I was able to rebuild it with the raws I had but I didn't know the one and only tracker was down for the time being (being re-coded from ground up). I clicked on all the torrents I could find and the only tracker that took was: http://tracker.ktxp.com:6868/announce but it does seem to be a private torrent. Didn't know any of that. Call me a newbie. Not one for downloading/uploading stuff much. How do I retorrent on nyaa?
Ganool subs and one font file uploaded. Forgot to mention that I did find subs on allsubs.org but they were for the censored version. But that was an improvement over hardsubs for half the episodes. Might come in handy for you. Is it possible to upload the raws to the same place, even if one file at a time?
Thanks again. I would really like to have a clean release and an amusing show that never seemed to get any love.
@ Anon 05:25 - I can upload the Tonagura v2 patches to mediafire, though the raw -> v1 patches aren't much use since the raws were on Megaupload.
ReplyDelete@ Anon 7:06 -- I have gotten stuff from the ktxp tracker in the past, and it is showing a seed, but nothing's getting transferred. To reupload them at nyaa, go into the "Create Torrent" function of your client, select your KK7 raws directory, and set http://open.nyaatorrents.info:6544/announce as the tracker. Then go to the upload page at nyaa, load the torrent file you created, and fill in fields like the torrent title, category, information url, and a brief description like "Uncensored DVD rips by Zero-Raws." Don't add the resolution in the title or description, as nyaa has been removing some DVD upscales.
I'll consider using the upscales for the whole series, if they look okay. If I do use the 480p ones for 1-6, I'll make the scripts available as they're released, so that people can use them with Zero-raws if they want to.
I'm fairly sure kitsunekko rejects any uploads larger than a few MB, so the raws can't be upped there. Other options would be to do split .rar archives at mediafire/rapidshare, or use a surviving file host like one of the ones listed here.
Just got back. The Koi Koi 7 torrent was showing two peers and one seed. And some trackers spewing nulls. So I deleted all the trackers except ktxp and restarted. Now uploading. Please try again. If that doesn't work, I'll try the alternatives.
ReplyDeleteFor trying to find non-upscaled rips, have you tried to contact keypel? Since his rips seemed to be half the size of my upscaled, they might be the kind of dvd rips you are looking for. Also go to the bakabt download page for the censored version. A couple of posters mentioned the keypel version and they might have a copy. You might want to try to contact them too.
Heh, my KK7 seed is already hitting 250 kB/s. Hope you are getting a copy. I'll try to leave it up through the weekend. But I only have a laptop here.
A DVD version of Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku o! would be nice. I've seen on aniDB that some groups have released DVD versions, however none are subbed with English.
ReplyDeleteHow about Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto. There is only a web rip for this show. The dvd raws are sadly in wmv format (ep 21 in nyaa is corrupt). You can find the russian script timed to the raws here: http://subs.com.ru/page.php?id=5304
ReplyDeleteYakushiji Ryouko no Kaiki Jikenbo (http://anidb.net/a5631) was done by AnimeOne & AnimeYuki and is currently available in English as a TV rip. The show itself is quite fun.
DeleteI think retouchedsubs wants to do a dvd version.
Deletehttp://retouchedsubs.wordpress.com/2011/09/07/starry-sky-21-22/
If you want to do Bakumatsu i did a reencode of all episodes in Hi10p. And ep. 21 is the correct one in the reencode.
ReplyDeleteHere is the first episode of bakumatsu.
Deletehttp://depositfiles.com/files/6i29xidxy
i have slow upload speed (80 kb/s). if you want to do it i can upload the rest.
Wow, what a comprehensive list of requested anime! I would like to make it longer XD
ReplyDeletere-release requests:
Yume Tsukai (hardsubbed by Arienai-Ureshii, Ayu-AonE and C1)
Himawari! (first season) (hardsubbed by GNU)
Love Love? (hardsubbed by Hell-Fansubs)
Chou Henshin Cosprayers (hardsubbed by Triad and Aikou&LS-A)
Zettai Shounen (hardsubbed by Triad)
Loveless (hardsubbed by Suck and aarinfantasy&RyRo)
Himitsu: The Revelation (softsubbed by Animanda)
Hitohira (softsubbed by Starlight)
Master of Epic (hardsubbed by EPIC)
re-re-release requests:
Shows released by FuktLogic (Kamen no Maid Guy, Doujin Work ect.) - these are good quality releases, but I'm very disappointed they doesn't have even simple translation for OP/ED songs. Maybe you could make a patch?
Penguin Musume Heart - DVD releases for this show does exist, but they all use unedited Chihiro subs (which even Chihiro admitted being horrible).
translation request:
Umineko no Naku Koro ni Uraneko specials
@Anon 2-6: That is quite the list. Sooner or later this page will contain all hardsubbed anime from 2001-2008 in some form or another, lol.
ReplyDeleteSpecific titles are addressed in the list above, but in regards to the FuktLogik stuff...
Re-releasing those shows has been on my radar for awhile, and in fact I did some work on Hidamari Sketch before even founding [ReDone]. Some of his projects have R1 DVDs or other fansubbed releases out there, but some shows that I've thought of doing include Hidamari Sketch S1, Indian Summer, Kamen no Maid Guy, and Ramen Fighter Miki.
I would like to ask if Hidamari Sketch S1 is still planned?
DeleteIt's still somewhere in the plans. It's sort of dependent on getting new encodes made, as all the raws out there are so-so quality or shitty DVD upscales. And the appearance of Blu-Rays does complicate things a bit. If somebody else decides to work on this show before do, I hope that if they can't edit/TLC subs themselves, they have the sense to use the R1 scripts with FL's typesetting.
DeleteHeh, if you consider Love Love, you might also consider its prequel Hit o Nerae. Unlike Love Love, the hardsub of Hit o Nerae is not DVD-based, and DVD version contains some new untranslated content (IIRC, at least in the form of some jokes at the beginning of episodes). And ZeroRaws raws, while upscaled, are still way better than old TV rips.
ReplyDeleteAlso I've read somewhere that the DVDs of Kagihime has some new content in every episode, and since I enjoyed the show, I'd like to second that request.
There are some non-upscaled raws for Smash Hit!, and they're even in DivX rather than wmv. Unfortunately, they aren't fully seeded.
ReplyDeleteI looked through the Kagihime raws, and the only new scene I could find was a scene from the random girl's story in episode 01. All the other eps have lengths comparable to the TV-rips, and F-B didn't have the sponsor screens in or anything. Maybe it's one of those rental/retail situations like we saw with Final Approach, where not all DVD sources have the new content.
I'd like to request Kage Kara Mamoru!
ReplyDeletehttp://anidb.net/a4112
Well, maybe that was false information about Kagihime then, I can't remember the source anyway.
ReplyDeleteI forgot about those DivX raws for Smash Hit!, I am seeding them on nyaa now. Some screen comparisons: Triad vs Zero-Raws (downscaled), Triad vs DivX raws (the last pic is not exact frame), DivX raws vs Zero-Raws
Zettai Shounen raws from nyaa, despite being labeled as 120fps, in fact are regular vfr mkvs (23.976-29.97fps). I can also seed them if you want, would be a nice project.
I'd like to request Ep.12 and 13 of Windy Tales(Fuujin Monogatari). The group unfabulous-subs released Ep.11 in April 2011 and since then nothing happen. They don't even post a status update. There are raws with rus. soft subs for it, but sadly there are no seeds.

Would you consider old school hentai (as in softcore) in the right time frame (1995)?
ReplyDeleteWhile checking out series with both non-hentai and hentai spinoffs like Canvas, I ran across Kakyuusei. The original show is old school hentai but only the first two eps were subbed. You can find raws and subs for 1st 2 eps at:
Kakyuusei My Pretty Class Student EP 01-04 [01-02 ENG SUBS] | Hentai Anime Downloads
http://hentaianimedownloads.com/kakyuusei-my-pretty-class-student-ep-01-04-01-02-eng-subs/
I'd like to see all eps subbed if possible.
Would you consider rethinking about Alice Academy? GrimRipper did something strange (I think) so there are deinterlace/telecine/whatever-artifacts, for instance often across their mouths when they speak.
ReplyDelete(I only viewed it on a pc screen, d'oh! I forgot that sometimes these things disappear when looked at on a TV screen.)
I've checked out the 1st episode of ep 01, and I did see the mouthcomb artifacts you were talking about. I'm not sure if it's serious enough to warrant a competing release, but I'll look into future eps and see if the Eien-ACG raws are significantly better. If nothing else, I'll at least see about OCRing the vobsubs from GrimRipper's release and posting them somewhere.
DeleteI'd like to request Raimuiro Ryuukitan X.
ReplyDeleteThe group that was subbing it dropped it after 2 episodes.
I would like to request Shakugan no Shana S1 DVD's with Eclipse-subs, since I can't find a release yet of it which does it justice.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you haven't seen my comments on various sites about SS-Eclipse's Shana subs, but long story short, I don't care for them. They're overliteral, undertranslated (e.g. "Reiji Maigo" instead of "Midnight Lost Child"), and full of useless space-wasting junk like "~de arimasukara." The most I'd be willing to do is a dual-sub release with improved R1 subs + Eclipse as an alternate track. And I don't know what encodes I'd use for such a release; perhaps Exiled-Destiny's, since they conveniently have the English audio in them already.
DeleteAs a stopgap measure, you could grab the Elysium BD-rips, extract the subs, and load them externally on to E-D's DVD-rips. Assuming Elysium replicated the hardsubbed songs and signs from the TV-rips, that should give you Eclipse's script with the proper timeshifts for DVD/BD.
As another anon said earlier, please finish the last two episodes of Windy Tales, and perhaps compile them with the other 11 from Unfabulous into a singular release. That would be really nice.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Any chance of you doing Koukou Butouden Crows? There are raws available but no subs. The manga was the basis for the Crows Zero live action prequel movies which I thoroughly enjoyed.
ReplyDeletehttp://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=5183
Also, any update on Lime-Iro Ryuukitan X?
Koukou Butouden Crows:
DeleteProbably not, I think I'm overcommitted on TL/TLC projects at the moment.
Though I am doing some work on Lime-iro Ryuukitan X, like some TLC on ep 01 and the OP/ED.
Awesome news about Lime-iro Ryuukitan X. What group is releasing it?
DeleteWould you consider picking up Nagasarete Airantou? Polished subs and Ayako did it (Ayako did it first, then Polished-subs muxed Ayako's script into the DVD raws), but I believe the encoding and translation done on either release wasn't all that great.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm not an encoder, the best I could do would be to fix up the subs and remux polished's release. But there is a lot of room for improvement in Ayako's script (for NA or any series they worked on, really); even a simple spellcheck would've made polished's release little more "polished."
DeleteI'd like to request Tenjou Tenge The Past Chapter.
ReplyDeleteAny chance you will take over unfinished animes from other MIA groups, for example uguu~subs?
ReplyDeleteCan't say for sure, but once upon a time I did transcribe episodes 8 and 9 of Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, so anything could happen...
DeleteRequesting translation for the Wagaya no oinari-sama Omakes.
ReplyDeleteRaws are available here, by Henshin: http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=202855
I'll grab the files, but I can't guarantee anything at the moment. I'm trying to avoid doing specials for shows I haven't seen, since they're harder to do without context and thus tend to get backburner'd.
DeleteAbout Tsukuyomi Moon Phase: did you find the R1 subtitles to be more accurate translation-wise, compared to Mahou? Or they only look better because they are unlocalised?
Deletecan i request anime whistle ! ???....
ReplyDeleteplease... this anime it's cool, hopefully ...
Sorry, I don't care for sports anime that much, so I probably won't do it.
DeleteHi I have a request, how about Yami No Matsuei? I haven't seen any softsubbed version of this one.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say no, because:
Delete* A softsubbed version does exist, though it seems quite rare.
* The series did once have an R1 DVD release.
* Raws don't appear to be available.
* While I will watch bishounen-type anime, I'm not too enthusiastic about working on them.
Requesting translation check on Doki's Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu Purezza. Also, if you can help find a encoder, since the bdmv are out and Doki used pre-encoded raws, I'll be willing to time shift the script.
ReplyDeleteI've definitely wanted to overhaul those subs ever since I saw them back in '09. Right now I'm trying to obtain some low-res raws since that's what I prefer, but I'll be sure to make the subs easily available for anyone who wants to do new higher-res encodes.
DeleteHere's a Hi10p 480p release: http://tokyotosho.info/details.php?id=538144
DeleteIndeed, that's the torrent I've been slowly downloading for the last 3 days or so. I've never released anything in 10-bit before, but it'll happen sooner or later.
DeleteThe dvd for Mamoru-kun is available on ADC under the name "Venus to Mamoru." Hopefully someone comes to you to encode it.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI have a question that regarding anime. I came across your site when searching for ocr help on subrip and wht i am looking for is the best settings in subrip so the program can learn better and that i dont have to manually enter so many letters that i have to when i convert sup to srt, wich is what i use it for only. Do you know how i can get by to having to enter letters manually to much ?
/Dennis
The problem is that there's no "magic bullet" setting that will work well for everything. The ideal settings well vary based on the colors/styles of the hardsubbed text, as well as the nature of the anime. It takes a lot of trial and error, and I found myself adjusting settings during the OCR process to account for light or dark scenes. As I said in the guide, make sure the RGB values in Subrip's tolerance settings line up with the values of the actual subs/outlines. Like if the subs are 210,160,180, have the settings at something like 100,50,70 -- that way, adjusting them up or down will keep the same color "relationships" as the subs.
ReplyDeleteBut Subrip's inconsistency led me to switch to transcribing, which I recommend over OCR -- you have to enter 100% of the characters, but there'll (theoretically) be fewer errors to correct or missing lines/songs/signs to add. You could also try the suggestions outlined here:
http://jumonjigiri.blogspot.com/p/extracting-hardsubs.html
Requesting translation for Queen´s Blade Rebellion Specials 4, 5 and 6.
ReplyDeleteI have that raws. Are you interested?
No answer???
DeleteI'm trying to avoid doing specials for shows I haven't seen, so I'll have to say no at this point. Maybe I'll reconsider if the Sentai R1 DVD release doesn't include them.
Deletecan you do genji monogatari sennenki? hi10p dvd raws are avail... the current sub releases all look like **** and are ancient tv encodes
ReplyDeleteAny chance you'll do a re-release of Ichigo 100% with the BDs out? It looks decent but I haven't checked it from the bdmv, only from the one episode someone released on nyaa.
ReplyDeleteProbably not. I figure my subs are out there and easily available on kitsunekko/subs.ru if someone wants to do the necessary timeshifting for a new BD release. But if no one else does it and if it's not deemed a crappy upscale, I may reconsider.
DeleteZero-raws released the bd. The video looks decent, not good but not too bad. The subs are synced in perfectly, but some of the ts have an extra/less frame and, although minor, two dashes instead of a long dash that I plan to fix. This is only from watching a few minutes of episode 01, so I can't say if there are bleeds of the dialogue but they looked fine.
DeleteAlthough sadly I am unsure as to whether or not there is any source out there I'd really like to see this show via dvd or bluray.
ReplyDeleteH2O: Footprints in the Sand
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=5508&showallag=1#grouplist
That's actually something I've had planned for awhile (even some work done), although the DVD raws are slightly crappy.
DeleteWell it would be nice to see done, however depending on how crappy the raws are I would understand it not seeing the light of day.
Delete* Umineko no Naku Koro ni Uraneko specials: May consider if raws at 720p or below become available.
ReplyDeletewell there is 480p at the Uraneko folder in the bonus folder of this torrent: "http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=view&tid=184711"
i have DVD ISO of Happy Lesson Advance but i don't know rip dvd,
ReplyDeleteanimakai could help me? I need raw to make sub ^^ email jjigokushoujo@yahoo.com.vn
heard anything about if anyones gunna finish Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-san ive only ever seen eps 1-22 subbed
ReplyDeleteI'm not really familiar with that series, so I don't know if it has any hopes of seeing subs completed. If I worked on it, it would probably be under my Pretty Cure Splash Subs label.
DeleteYou can find HKG-raws for mamoru kun ni megami no shukufuku wo on nyaa or just search megadere dvdrip on google.
ReplyDeleteI actually do have raws for that, from HKG and other sources.
DeleteOk, are you planning to do a release based on DVD raws for mamoru-kun? and can i make a request? I didn't saw okusama wa joshikousei on requests page, this anime never get a DVD Release, it only get a Tv-rip release from Lime subs. Can you make a DVD release?
DeleteI just look and saw the BD .iso is out for okusama wa joshikousei. Time is moving fast :)
DeleteRe: Okusama wa Joshikousei
DeleteI don't think I ever announced anything, but I've had DVD-raws and scripts transcribed for it for a long time now. It needs a fair amount of TL correction, though. As for Blu-Ray, I'm betting it'll be a hahahaOhWow upscale, given the show's vintage and overall quality. But I'll at least do a DVD release and get corrected softsubs out there if anybody wants the BDs for whatever reason.
Cool, didnt know there was a better source than TV for this one.
DeleteIf you do a DVD/BD release of Okusama wa Joshikousei with LIME subs (correction needed?), then I'll definitely grab it. The colors in LIME arent the best, but for this series its not very important (no CGI, no action, its all about the story).
I like that the anime was kept "clean", unlike the manga which is more ecchi - makes it more focused on the romance.
Grimripper just released his version of Mamoru-kun, 10-bit with FLAC.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteIs releasing Sky Girls with Froth-Bite subs still something you might do? I kind of want to watch that show but I don't want to decide between eye-and-ear-cancer and awful subtitles.
ReplyDeleteI can't guarantee a time frame, but it is something I'd like to do. (Almost thought I'd lost the raws, but luckily I didn't.) Though I don't think the F-B TV-rips are exactly eye/ear-cancer...
DeleteI would like to make another request for a DVD release of Sky Girls using F-B subs ... I saw you did the OVA a few years back, which was great, but would love a nicely done release of this series, which really deserves more love and attention overall, I feel.
DeleteI know it would probably be involved labor and time wise, but I can make a request at least....
Thanks for your efforts on the site in general too. I appreciate this kind of work! ^^
Have you ever watched Wandaba Style? There's an official R-1 release, but the OVA was never released.
ReplyDeleteDVD raw is available at http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=119021
(OVA) 妄想科学シリーズ ワンダバスタイル 第0話 「みっくすJUICEの作り方」 (DVD 640x480).mp4
I actually did buy and watch the R1 DVD release, but I hadn't heard about that OVA. I DLed the raw, and I'll see about giving it a shot.
DeleteHi, Could you please sub onegai my melody sukkiri?, If you can that would be great. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteRaws aren't available, and there are other long Magical Girl type anime I'd rather go after.
DeleteHi,What are your thoughs on Kodocha?
ReplyDeleteBought the R1 DVDs for the 1st half and watched the HK rips for the 2nd half, liked the show. I'd consider working on improving the subs for the 2nd half if I had access to R2J DVD raws that're intact, i.e. contain the Next Episode Previews.
DeleteThere's R2J DVDs available on ADC now. How can I seduce you into it? Lol
Deletemottoj (nyaa #1107756) is working on r2j dvd raws. Are you still up for improving the subs?
Deletehttps://nyaa.si/view/1108989
DeleteDr Slump the remake version
ReplyDeleteSorry, but no chance. Not interested, too long, etc.
DeleteHi, I'd like to request Cream Lemon: New Generation. http://myanimelist.net/anime/5167/Cream_Lemon:_New_Generation
ReplyDeleteIt has never been translated in English, but it's only four OVAs long. I found it here, Japanese and German dub: http://www.mcanime.net/descarga_directa/anime/detalle/ddcream_lemon_new_generation_44alejap200mbdvd/55197
Thanks!
Hi, can you do Shaman King please? SOFCJ Encoded the RAW Anime, you can find the torrent on nyaa.
ReplyDeleteRussian subs are avaliable too : http://subs.com.ru/page.php?id=3461&highlight=SHAMAN
According to most reviews out there, Shaman King is a generic/low-budget shounen anime with a lot of filler and a disappointing/incomplete ending. And I never saw it as a kid, so I have no nostalgic attachment to it. There are others out there who've expressed interest in working on it or have released a few episodes. But for the time being, I'm keeping it on "rejected."
DeleteCan you do Agatha Christie no Meitantei Poirot to Marple DVDrip please?
ReplyDeleteR2J RAW's are avaliable : http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=395727 & Russian subs are available too : http://subs.com.ru/page.php?id=4649&highlight=AGATHA
Requesting Pani Poni Dash http://myanimelist.net/anime/490/Paniponi_Dash!
ReplyDeleteDVD raws available on nyaa: http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=16630
This show is lacking a good release, the best available (bakabt) is from multiple groups most episodes being TV hardsubbed xvid etc.
Hope you pick it up I can purchase DVDs for you if the raws are lacking.
I generally stay away from shows that have currently-available R1 DVDs. What about E-D's and Arigatou's releases? They're DVD source, 99-100% softsubbed in h264/mkv, and have relevant text translated. Arigatou's even has the pop-up reference notes. I do have the R1 DVDs, but I'm not much of an encoder. And I'm not sure if my typesetting skills can live up to the community's standards for a text-heavy SHAFT show like PPD. IIRC Afternoon Naps Empire was going to attempt it, but I guess they died :(
ReplyDeleteWasn't aware E-D did it, GG did a good job at typesetting but they didn't do all the signs. Oyasumi did pretty much all the signs but didn't do a very good job with the positioning/translation.
DeleteNo idea what subs E-D used but i guess they are official DVD and lacking typesetting.
Going to stick with this mixed release unless someone picks it up.
http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=106218
All episodes apart from OVA are hardsubbed xvid which is why i came here I understand if you don't want to do it.however. Still looking forward to a lot of releases on the list :)
I do have the Ginban Kaleidoscope raws, and although someone else is encoding Twin Spica for me, one can never have too many fallbacks (that aren't .wmv). As for STL, as I said on Nyaa, I'm still not sure about it since I haven't seen the series, and there are numerous projects for shows I have seen that I need to get around to. But I'll move it from red to yellow.
ReplyDeleteHow about Shuffle! Memories? The only subbed release is 396p with MP3 audio and hardsubs so it's hardly optimal. Nyaa has BD raws available.
ReplyDeleteCan you do the unsubbed episodes of detective conan? Just 752 onward. All the rest should be subbed. Thank you! If not, thanks anyway.
ReplyDeletehttp://bakabt.me/165745-love-get-chu-miracle-seiyuu-hakusho-c1-ayu-yoroshiku-oyatsu.html
ReplyDeleteHow about happy lesson advance? I think it will be good to watch it in DVD quality (considering we only have tv rip anime keep release.) There are DVD raws out there.
ReplyDeleteI have the raws, but I want to see if I can get better results with the .isos. I do have the scripts, though.
DeleteI have the DVDs for Love Love? Not an encoder but I could give it a try or provide ISOs if you want to work on it.
ReplyDeleteCan you do Memories off #5 DVDrip please?
ReplyDeleteU enconde previous series what why I ask ^^
Technically, I didn't encode any of the previous series, I just extracted and fixed subs for them and put them on existing raws or new encodes that somebody else did. Either way, Memories Off 5 is currently being worked on.
DeleteCan you do tenshi na konamaiki 1-22 ? I know all episodes are hardsubbed but 23-50 are DVDrip so it is fine. What I don't like is 1-22 are tvrip and 4:3. This anime was produced in 16:9 so they cropped to 4:3 in TV. I don't like cropping at all. So it is possible for you to release 1-22 ?
ReplyDeleteNote: btw what happened to okusama wa joshikousei? I remember something like you said "I finished transcribing these subs" 2-3 years ago. Are you planning to release okusama wa joshikousei softsubs?
I do have raws for Cheeky Angel, though if I were to release it, I would do the whole series, since A-E's 23-50 are still hardsubbed .avi with some subbing issues. My Wife is a High School Girl is coming up within the very immediate future.
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteDo you have any plans for fighting beauty wulong? I think I saw your name at LIME fansub ep 8-9. Did you dropped at ep 9 ? Actually, ep 16-25 and rebirth needs translation because HKDVD subs are not understandable, you need to pause and read and make sense of translation, names are chinese, so it feels like unedited google translation. It would be great to have a new translation
Btw thanks for joshikousei!
Unfortunately, between the Chinese terms, martial arts terms, and non-standard dialects, I was just never very good or effective at editing or translating that series, so I don't have plans to return to it.
DeleteCan you do Happy Lesson or Love Hina?
ReplyDeleteLove Hina's got plenty of releases out there, and I don't want to run afoul of Funimation, so no. Happy Lesson Advance and Final I can do, but the TV series and OVAs 1-3 already have various other softsubbed DVD releases.
Deletecosmic baton 23-end?
ReplyDeleteNoblesse OVA: The Beginning of Destruction
ReplyDeletePlease, I really want it...
I can't do anything with that one, as I can't speak or understand Korean.
DeleteCan you please sub Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-San episode 23 to the end? I got really into the anime but the people who used to sub it stopped a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteCould you give Akikan a shot. No subbed DVD version was ever released for that series.
ReplyDeleteExiled-Destiny released subbed R1 DVD-rips for Akikan! back in 2013.
DeleteExiled-Destiny extracts English subs(which aren't very good) directly from the DVD for there releases. Chihiro did great subbing Akikan but for some reason never released a DVD version.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteIt's true that there's no fansubbed DVD version of Akikan. But generally I ignore shows that have R1 releases/rips, as I consider subs translated by professionals with access to the Japanese scripts to be adequate, and the rips are virtually always 100% softsubbed.
DeleteHowever, since I know of at least one obvious trollsub-worthy line in the R1 subs, I'll look into the show, though I don't remember Chihiro's subs as being all that good (too many "character talking directly to another character with names instead of 'you'" moments) -- I'd go with CoalGuys/Commie instead.
Would love to see if you could work on Tetsuwan Birdy Decode season 1 and/or 2.
ReplyDeleteLike Akikan!, both of those were released on R1 DVD and have various R1 DVD-rips available. Though I am aware of certain flaws in those R1 DVDs, specifically the ED videos being shrunk to run English credits in the empty space, including in the last episode where the JP credits run over actual dialogue and action.
DeleteSo I might be willing to take a crack at them (remuxing English audio and edited subs with R2 DVD-rips) if Funimation's license expires later this year.
Please fansub Hustle Punch
ReplyDeleteDVD is out: http://www.play-asia.com/hustle-punch-dvd-box-digitally-remastered-edition/13/709m49
Buy it and make the raws yourself
While I'm not one of those "everything I buy/watch/sub must be brand new" types... $199.99 for an ancient show that pretty much no one's heard of, including me? No. Not to mention, I doubt I could encode it any better than random Japanese uploaders on Share/PD/whatever could do it.
Deletehere is raw for [Shining Tears X Wind] (1280x720 DivX640)
ReplyDeletehttps://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=789830
If anyone sees this, please consider subtitling Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-san for episodes 23 to the end. I don't think there are any translations anywhere, and it makes me depressed to find that it hasn't been finished as a subbing project. I really wanted to finish watching the whole series... Raw episodes in good quality can be found on YouTube. Thank you to anyone who is interested in this :)
ReplyDeletePlease do Ninja Senshi tobikage. It's a retro action, mecha anime released in 80s with crappy Hong Kong DVD subtitles that hardly make sense sometines. It doesnt do justice to all the people who would rewatch it to relive their childhood memories. I donot know the meaning of DVD raws but there are DVD rips available which are good quality (bakabt.me for example has them) and they maybe available in other places on the internet. I can also upload them for you if you want.
ReplyDeleteHey, sorry to ask here but I wanted to post somewhere you might see it. For "Earth Girl (Chikyuu Shoujo) Arjuna [FiveStar+A-E]" you uploaded on nyaa, could you reseed just the first episode "[FiveStar] Earth Girl Arjuna - 01 [D038C790]" on that torrent? Every episode is complete but that one. I'll try to seed for a while afterwards. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt should be reseeded now.
DeleteI have seen up there that you're not interested in sports anime but I take my chances anyway.
ReplyDeleteOokiku Furikabutte. The first season is hardsubbed with with ugly CA subtitles.
It's available on R1 DVD, and I don't share the same opinion that many do about the ugliness of yellow with black outlines. Plus, there don't seem to be DVD raws available.
DeleteI'll take a crack on this, but it may not suit your criteria
ReplyDelete- Persona: Trinity Soul.
* From what I remember, it's expired since 2013 when NIS washed their hands off it with no R1 DVD copies available, except once in a blue moon if you're lucky.
Exiled-Destiny did release DVD-rips of it.
DeleteHi
ReplyDeletewill you consider to do an anime that don't have dvd source?
there is an really cute rom-com ova that i have tried to create Eng sub for it, but i am not satisfied with result and it need to edited (or re-translated) in some parts by a professional.
the source of it (not sure) is LD by resolution 640*470 and also it has a Russian external ass sub.

DeleteI really want Onegai My Melody Sukkiri subbed! The person who was subbing the first 2 seasons and 6 episodes of Sukkiri quit for some reason and now I'm so upset I can't finish the series!! Please sub it! No one else will! Episode 7 to 52 need to be subbed. :(

See my reply to an anon on 1-18-14; raws aren't available, and I'm not too interested in that franchise.
DeletePlease consider:
ReplyDelete* Grappler Baki SERIES

Thanks!!!
Grappler Baki already has R1 DVD-rips available. Zoids generally has DVD-rips with some kind of English translation, and I've never been too interested in that franchise.
DeletePlease do PowerPuff Girls Z
ReplyDeleteI have the raws and I will upload them for you

Sorry, I just don't see myself tackling that series. If you do have PPGZ raws, I'd suggest uploading them in case someone else takes an interest in the project.

ReplyDeleteShibai Taroka is an old anime
ReplyDeleteIt has not been subbed yet
Has only 2 ovas 53 minute each. A delinquent anime of sorts. Heard its pretty good
RAWS can be downloaded from here :

If you feel like subbing it, then please do it :)
Want to try doing the Twinbee Paradise OVAs. There pretty funny perhaps even more with subs.

ReplyDeleteHi Zalis,
ReplyDeleteFirstly, let me thank you for your hard work! You have done a great job in re-releasing the older anime.
There is one anime series which is, in my opinion, worth re-releasing: 'Patapata Hikousen no Bouken' (Secret of Cerulean Sand).
The series is loosely based on two works by Jules Verne and is very inspiring. It has good to very good reviews as well.
It is all around good series, which, I think, deserves more attention. Although it is not perfect, for me finding it was kind of like finding a hidden gem.
There is an English release made by AnimeCo with high-quality hard subtitles available, although the quality of the video is rather poor. Recently I have found that there is a considerably higher-quality DVD-rip of the French official DVD with soft subtitles.
I managed to find all the original torrent files as well as corresponding data and revitalised the original torrents on TokyoTosho. I took me a couple of days, although it was not that hard compared to what you are doing.
You can find the valid torrent files with the source materials here (both English hardsub and French softsub):
https://bitbucket.org/patapata/patapata/downloads/
I hope you will consider making the re-release of this great series!
With kind regards,
The 'Secret of Cerulean Sand' fan.
P.S.
English is not my native language, so please forgive me my mistakes if there are any.
Have you considered Kodomo no Omocha / Kodocha / Child's Toy? (1996-1998). A hilarious Shoujo anime, 102 episodes in 2 seasons. The first season was released in R1 DVD but unfortunately in a rather butchered form (decent fansubs are available.) There was no R1 release for season 2 and it is available only with painful Hong Kong subs.
ReplyDeleteR2 DVD rips are available for both. Ideally I'd like to see the R2 first season with the American fansubs. For the second season the HK subs could be cleaned up into something resembling native English.
Can you reupload/share "Soul Link" (with specials) on nyaa.si? Current torrents are dead for a long time already.
ReplyDeleteHi there! Excuse me! Hi! I am in desperate need of your help to sub a classic anime

I'm looking for a sub group who can try to translate every known found episode of Rokumon Tengai Mon Colle Knight.
Know anybody who can translate and sub classic anime as this?
I found every possible link of I think all the episodes of it-but it hasn't been translated in years so I am looking for a good group to give it english subs
And if there are any episodes missing I do got all 51 and the movie on burnt discs I made long ago after stumbling across the links.
ANyway I am in need of a fan sub group to help me sub rokumon tengai mon colle knight
Also just copy and paste one by one the links I posted above. :3
would you please consider doing full moon wo sagashite? theres not a single source available that goes beyond episode 26, and only one of those is a good quality. I've found the dvd raws and the episodes are all available hardsubbed online for streaming. https://www.acgnx.se/show-f9e560d441d9fa3b732d163ba8595b0ae068c700.html
